Tascam failed to include MIDI on the DP32SD, however. That makes the 32SD pretty much useless for me (as I frequently have a lot of gadgets blinking and syncing at the same time). So while it is technically 32 tracks, it's 20 by the way I count. Still plenty. It does have a fader for each, no funky layering, which makes it easy to mix on.
