In-band noise reduction ofdm
WebNov 9, 2016 · In this paper, we propose an algorithm to cancel the IN and NBI simultaneously for an OFDM based PLC system. The proposed method exploits the duality of the problem, where the IN is sparse in the time domain and the NBI is sparse in the frequency domain. WebThe paper develops several practical techniques for specifying the noise and linearity of components used in a ΔΣ fractional-N synthesizer. As an example, it presents a synthesizer with an in-band phase noise floor of -97 dBc/Hz@10 KHz for an RF output frequency of 2.432 GHz and a reference frequency of 16 MHz.

Webinput coded data is modulated using OFDM modulation technique. The OFDM data is transmitted through the PLC channel which contains periodic impulsive noise. The background noise can be modelled as white gaussian noise. Thus the OFDM data is corrupted with periodic impulsive noise and background noise. Webthe PAPR, which directly limits the OFDM signals to a prede-termined range [12], and then results in signal distortion such as in-band distortion and out-of-band radiation [13]. Moreover, the distortion caused by the clipping operation can be treated as another kind of noise, whose power spectrum falls both in-band and out-of-band [14].
